Just go to your local scrappy and get a battery > starter cable from a Mk4 escort or two depending on length required.

Most of the bigger engined 5series bms in scrappers have the battery in the boot and a nice thick cable!

Put the race battery in it's jazzy luttle cage in the boot, run a new cable to the bulkhead, drill a hole for the pass through from rallynuts to prevent chafing, then join the posi to the new cable with that joiner, earthbthe battery in the boot as close to the battery as possible????

thats the hard way

just remove the main posi strap form the battery to the starter(it should be the only live really on the battery im most cases)... and run a live from the battery direct to the starter where youve just unbolted the old one, and anything like amp leads you have ajoining the battery now, can also just be placed on the starter live youve just ran, thats the easiest option.......or from the battery wherever you place it

no sense joining a wire you dont need to, then just earth the neg side to the chassis in the bay, and earth the battery to the chassis wherever you put it

Cool thanks

My raceland induction kit has caused all of this!

It's appauling! So I'm getting a fabricated airbox for where the battery currently lives and need to relocate it, and the epic rallynuts prices atm!!!!

Wouldn't have thought you would get much chaffing if you used a rubber grommet with the wire through that.
It shouldn't be flapping around that much.
