Getting a backbox delete done in a couple of weeks, really looking forward to some noise.
Just wondering what i'd have to do to get these to fit ? http://esmwheels.com/index.php?route...&product_id=92

18" fronts, 8 inch wide and 18" 9inch wide at the rear. Do i need spigot rings as the central bore is different? Is it doable ?

These are the size of standard wheels :

3 series E46 (without M3 rears)
PCD 5/120, centre bore 72.5 mm
Wheel bolts as above
E46 offsets ET 40-50 mm (without rolling rear will take up to 9.5x19 ET45 with 265/30/19)

Really? Sure it wouldn't be too loud ? Could always go back of it wasn't enough.

Also the cruise control wasn't working which was fixed by a new MAF sensor. This has also improved my mpg, a motorway journey I can now get 32mpg without hanging around..

The car was up for sale because I was missing the cheap modifications side of things... However I will have a better income soon so I am keeping it: it's growing on me more and more now, really enjoy driving it and hopefully with the backbox delete coming up, it should only get better.

I dunno if it will be too loud. I got the backboxes done and thought the same as you, can always go back. I'd say most days I wish I had the centre done as well as or instead of the back.

Chopped both of my silencers out too, sounded nice and wasn't overly obnoxious.

Sorry for the crappy iPhone/dirty car pics.

Cheers.

I also have had a backbox delete done; made the right choice, I love it. Sounds very aggressive, loud and a lot of pops and bangs.

Thanks, hmm I'll get some better pics with sparkling wheels and you'll be convinced. They are hard to keep clean but I really like the colour combo.

Yeah it took me a while to decide on which to go for, considered csl reps but went for these in the end. You should go for them, I love them and they can be picked up for £2-300 depending on their condition so they're not that expensive.
