Update:

Got the 3" pugsport fitted!
Looks ace, although can hardly see it in the pitch black
Also, I fired the baby up today, the exhaust system sounds awesome! I'm so impressed! Really want to get it on the road now..

Got a really bad pic of the exhaust since it was pitch black outside... Edited the photo to make it lighter

I have also mounted the slimline fan
I've decided I'm going to wire the fan to be controlled via a relay and on/ off switch next to the steering wheel. so I can manually flick the fan on when stationary in traffic

Looked into wiring it up to the existing loom, but it doesn't seem to have a thermostat so I'll be easier to wire new

Started wiring the fan, got the main leg into the cabin area

Pics....
(Excuse the air filter was a temporary to get the engine running )

Only pic I got ATM of exhaust will get better pics in the light

Fan mounted

Over the next few days I'm going to finish wiring the fan, then hopefully my induction kit will have turned up, so I can fabricate a hose for it and sort out a catch tank
Might end up relocating the battery so there's more room in the bay ....

Thanks I love it

I'll try get a better photo.

Purchase update:

Got this today... Enclosed induction kit & green cotton filter
Was in two minds about it tbh....

It'll need abit of 'modifiying' to fit into the smaller s1 bay, but since I've got it, I might aswell fit it!

If I don't like it then I'll just fit a standard airbox

The original pipe work that came with it was too long and I didn't want the oil breather hole in the side (I'll be fitting a catch tank), so I've ordered a new hose to fit

Pic!

No other updates on this really
Need to pull my finger out and get he fan wired in, then I'll put bumper back on... Fit foglights and replace headlights
Going to get some Osram nightbreaker bulbs for it aswell!

Opinions???

Small update

Just a reminder for you all to keep them air filters clean and oiled

The one I bought didn't look too bad really, but gave it a quick clean as I had the cleaning stuff, and look at all the dirt!!

Now I have a cleaned and re-oiled air filter

Also wired the fan today! Tested it too to make sure it's rotating correctly.
Just need a switch ...

That's all for now dudes!

Yeah defo worth a clean

The green filter hardly looked dirty when I bought it, but I cleaned it anyway since I had the cleaning stuff... And I was shocked actually how dirty it was!!

I used the k&n recharger kit... Highly recommended

Update:

Induction kit fitted!

Had to modify it a little to fit. It Takes up quite abit of room though, struggling to fit battery back into the bay. Looks like I may have to relocate it to the boot area.
I also need to sort out an oil catch tank

Thoughts?

I can't believe it tbh! Such a nice and well looked after car. There's probably not another one around like it in such good condition ... And has not 16v'd haha!
I've noticed you gave put an MOT on it too should attract more buyers now hopefully!

Thanks matey! haha, no worries! I'm in no rush which reminds me ... I still need to create a proper list of parts I need!

Purchase update... No progress though!

Recieved my Carbon battery box and relocation cables!
Just awaiting a battery isolator and 'joint box' I have ordered to complete the relocation

Need to pull my finger out and get the rear stripped out.

Progress will be slow though as the daily saxo has MOT coming up

Pic of battery box

Still looking for afew parts...

- 1ltr Mocal oil catch tank
- sunroof tilt and slide unit
- upper strut brace
- lower strut brace (maybe)

Enjoy
