Carbon clean and vac check got me back over 100bhp. No shit.
The valves were checked on its last service at 70k and were clean, its only done 2k since then.

Milltek non-res will be ordered at some point this month and I put a revolution induction kit on when I was home last.

Is there any advantage over proper decats as opposed to gutting the originals or is it just what posh people do?

Gut the pre-cats, leave the main cats. It'll need a remap after gutting the pre-cats though.

The revolution intake is nice looking and sounding, but costs power (same as the Gruppe M) which is why I've not gone for one - have you put in a cold air feed and done the aux rad delete at the same time? That can help.

Yeah - the rad delete is a bit of a mission. £200 for AmD in Essex to do it, and I would have been tempted but it was in for £1000 of work already at the time and I just thought fuck it lol. I'm still at 441ps without it so... There's probably not £200 of value in it for me now tbh.

That was my thinking when I saw what MRC charge, $200+ for a cold air feed

Few bits done. Lots actually.

£3.5k of servicing bits and bobs in the last month or so.

Been to nurburgring.

As much as I hate you for selling the 106, this thing does look the nuts buddy - especially on the Karussell in the first pic

Would love to be at Trax this year to see it/you but plate change month is kicking off at work so thinking of the dollar and getting my head down with that

Anywho, you missing the old girl yet?

lol - nope, not missing the 106 one bit. Wait till I'm in an RS6 and it'll make the 106 look slow too... Simple as!

Filters, exhaust, and a remap on an RS6 gives 720bhp and 1000nm of torque, with a 3.9 second 0-60 and 205mph top speed. Sorry? What 106?

Christ almighty that is impressive buddy - I know of an RS6 with 740bhp IIRC and that's hitting 205 on the Autobahns 5 up... I've been told it literally has the brakes off a Le Mans racer haha.

Isn't the rs4 a 4.2 v8 n/a and the rs6 a 5.0 v10 twin turbo?

They're geared for 202mph or something, but only the supercharged boys can get there. And I don't want to spend that kind of money

Yeah that's it.

Stage 2 MRC mods (like my car) take the RS4 to about 440bhp. Stage 2 on the RS6 takes them to about 720bhp which is where i want to be at really.

Did you feel the cold air feed is worthwhile with the Revolution intake?

Are you cats gutted?
