The only way they could find you would be to get the info from your ISP, but there's no chance of them getting hold of that info anyway!

NOpe you can't
If you want to get this dudes IP and fool him xD
Send him a file, eg a .mp3 track
Open up command prompt and type
netstat
And his IP will show up, then turn the tables on him xD

Depends on your email provider, If it's windows live (Need to use IE for it to work) Right click the email in the list a go to view source, then you can see the email headers with ip etc.
Think it could be done with Outlook or another POP3 program, but thats more complicated.

Click on start, Click on Run, Type CMD click ok
In the black box type ipconfig press enter
Tells you all you need to know about you're IP address.
You can also type ipconfig /all for more details
In a mail header you can find some of the details but you can use CMD and the tracert command to find out a fair bit more.
There are easier ways of getting someones IP.

Whats the domain name where the email is from?
try to telnet to that domain on port 25
ie: telnet mail.X.com 25
that will tell you if the e-mail is coming from that correct domain and if its active or it might just be a spoof'ed email. If its spam your wasting your time
