Default Pending payment or delivery

Right because of all this crap with nickertosseraus

its got me thinking, i know all the mods say that the itrader is the best way to explain whether person in question can be trusted blah blah

but what if someone buys a engine off the guy, it doesnt turn up he says sorry i had problems with delivery guy its on its way now, but in the process of this has sold other items?

Then they dont turn up aswell, this is what has happened with nickertosseraus. Everyone has kept quiet, listening to all his promises then what do you know there is 10 people awaiting refunds

I think if you sell something on here there should be a pending delivery etc shown on the persons account. Once they have seen the person stuff did arrive it would make them feel better about buying from that person in question

Also this would stop a high amount of people being scammed

To be honest, if it was me I wouldn't buy anything from a member unless they were an established member, ie, more than 1000 posts, post regulary and has some good rep.

I know this is irrelevant but it's just my opinion, if you're handing money over to basically a 'noob' on the forums then you're risking alot

Need to be more carful next time

At the end of the day though how can staff prove any issues with sales etc? We can't. Who would control it? Seller could say it's arrived and he has confirmation etc whereas if the buyer wanted to scam all he would have to say is 'I haven't received it and a want a refund' etc. It's one member's word against another. At least with nikolashewitt he's admitted oweing the money so at least we can do an ip report and also a write-up for the police.

members need to realise mods can't wipe their arses 24/7. There will unfortunately allways be problems online. But members need to take responsibility and use sense. Someone with 0 posts pming you asking for a bank transfer? Clear to most its a scam. Simply need to double check everything and try to pay in a way you have some form of insurance
