blue flags do get used on track days.

Just at shows where track time is there ive seen alot of utterly dangerous driving so they can fuel their online egos.

On normal track days I still find alot of people sometimes ignore blue flags, hell I guess it is annoying when a saxo is faster than you in a 60k KTM lol

'Race wars' is one thing that does bother me on here, mine is better then yours, ill be faster etc.........

On the flip side of things, there wasnt a bad post in the thred i made about trackdays and dates
Just read that.
Could do, i left the RMO role as my interest only lies within track day events and have no interest in normal random meets any more.
Only seemed fair to let someone with an interest to do it
Bit gutted javelins croft days are cancelled

I have loads of routes and circuit maps drawn up if wanted for the section if its ever created,
ryans idea of his sticky was good.

The section seems to work well on rallye reg etc

Be good to have a section for dedicated enthusiasts tbh

Unhappy

we might be able to get a few discounts for group events if we get a jog on and get this section made. the main problem on here is that there are to many sub and amp dudes rather than people who want to drive a car.
and about the racing thing i just think its stupid. same rules apply anywhere ya go for a trackday. if some1 is faster (like ryan for many including me ) jus let him go. its not about whose penis is bigger its jus about having fun. - if you try and race someone with a faster car then its you who will be left on ya roof at cascades

i get a few pms asking about how to get into sprints and hillclimbs, local tracks, when im next doing a sprint etc. Plus i would to see a place where i can post all about how i got on, show some pictures etc

I'd also like to ask track specific question that might appear a bit geeky on the general sections such as driving technique, how to deal to lift off oversteer, tyre compounds, suspension rates etc. The more juciy stuff im inot is kind of submerged amongst posts that relate more to road cars.

I currently use the blog for my waffle but not a lot of poeple know they actually exist.

edit.... my spellling is cack but im typing too fast as im at work !

i am one of those who pm's you ha ha, think it would be good to see photos etc of your events.

same with foggy, ant jackson etc would be somewhere for them to hang, only ever spoke to antjackson via pm and thats when he was competing in the jimmy clark rally.

Another note to add.
Dont make them an official organiser simply just a section moderator

rallye reg members base is ALOT more mature than here.

For example ive even seen trackday threads where members just post, why go on track why not just go cain the back roads on a sunday morning etc....

If simo creates one, I dont mind putting alot of guides together and a sticky etc..

IMO it WOULD need to be very tightly moderated in the begining and around certain times of the year

agree.....

we all have our immaturity, but i think (hope) it would work on here.
first sign of shit like that, deleted if ever possible ban them from the section?
Could do it like the regional groups? everyone can view but have to be a member to post in it?

Something along those lines.
Should be open to free range but its a way against stupid posts.
