You can't grass someone in for taking part in racing events if they haven't....I think that would be a bit sad that someone on a car forum would encourage that to be honest.

I think VW would probably encourage me to as I can prove that because of me directly people have bought the same car based off of my youtube recommendations etc. I could just as easily slate them.

Anyways had a good old time at Snetterton. A saxo span which caused absolute chaos and a good old accident happened in my rear view mirror. Was very lucky to avoid the Caterham in the middle of the road. Others weren't so lucky....nothing worse than getting your car damaged through the actions of someone else...

I think it's a bit sad to lie on a public forum about racing a car that you clearly shouldn't be racing.

I've already notified Volkswagen and they'll be round your house at 9am tomorrow morning to give you a good arse raping. The Germans aren't very forgiving either so brace yourself.

I don’t really work for VW… however I don’t believe they would encourage you to drive one of their cars, blow it up on a track, and then return it to the dealership under a warranty claim.

I’m still really confused by your thread though. Are you saying that you’re hired a Polo GTi to take on track days?

Whether I took my car on a track or not wasn't the issue with the turbo. It was going to go at some point and quite a few people I have spoken to on youtube have had the same problem.

Maybe you should do a YouTube video and your credentials will probably cause a worldwide recall ?

I'm confused as to how people believe track use "blows up" cars.

I know people that rag the living shit out of their cars in the road on a nightly basis (something I don't feel inclined to do)

Now according to you that's absolutely all well and fine is it? Bouncing it off the limiter at a car park is fine is it?

Yet driving it on a track suddenly means that if something goes wrong then it's because of that?

I received a faulty product. End of. It's fixed. End of.

Surely you people are on a wind up? I mean is it really possible that you believe anything you say?

Is this admission of you using your own car on a track day?
