achievements are a massive + for the xbox 360. people love to grow their e-peen in the form of achievements. Myself its pretty average i suppose but im not die hard on getting achievements..

I read somewhere that ps3 was trying a similar idea to achievements. But i dont remember when and where i heard it or what form their achievements are in, anyone know ?

Im considering my PS3 purchase in the january sales. I mean look at game, recently (if not still now) they was doing normal retail price (£424.99) for PS3 + 3 games (nothing special, fight night, formula 1 and cod 3 and some other early release games).

You gotts think theres a price drop coming, plus the jan sales, im thinking its major competition for the 360 prices, may have to look at a pruchase...

They aint all 60GB, there is a 20GB version, dunno what the price is on that off the top of my head ...

Come to think of it i dunno if there is a PAL one at 20GB i only remember seeing NTSC and JAp versions at 20GB on ebay ...

the ps3 does have online games, ok the online experience doesnt match xbox live at the moment but thats because the ps3 is relatively new, every other week there is a software update which offers a new feature. also one thing which is good is that you dont have to pay to play online, where as you have to subscribe to xbox live. the thought of having to pay £40 for a game and then pay monthly to be able to play it fully, sucks really.

in the UK you can only buy the 60gb version.

cloud is your ps3 an import, mine is and i get all the new demo's on playstation network like a month before my step bros uk one.

yep, the online feature really depend on the game to be honest, the best game for online play ive got is rainbow six : vegas and to be honest its pretty good, comparable to the likes of counter strike source on the PC.

gran turismo will have an online feature, one of the things i like about the ps3 is the playstation network, this gives you access to loads of demos and trailers for films and games and best of all its completely free
