Laptop problem
My browser keeps loading really annoying pages at random intervals.
Most times, it opens up gambling website pages, occasionally its realy sh*tty looking porn sites.
My hard drive light is constantly flickering, even when I'm doing absolutely nothing.
I have run Ad-Aware, McAfee virus scan and S + D. Ad-Aware and S+D have found and fixed / removed lots of non-critical problems, but I can't get rid of whatever is still causing these problems.
What else should I be scanning my laptop with? I know Ad-Aware is very good, but it hasn't done the job this time. I thnk I have picked up some sh*tty malware or spyware and NEED IT GONE!!
Any sugestions?

Can always give AVG a whirl.
If the ad-ware is to embedded in your system removal tools might not always work.

I've downloaded AVG but it won't install until I uninstall McAffee, which I don't wanna do cos its a paid-for program.

McAffee is s**t along with norton.
Try this online scanner, Needs to be opened in IE because it uses ActiveX.

Try and restore your windws to a date prior to the problem, then re-run the ad-aware and virus checker.
Can't remember exactly why.. but this worked when i accidently downloaded some dodgy problem

Tbh i doubt you'l find a program to remove it, you be better off backing upyour data and re-mastering you laptop that would be the best way!
