F1 cars aren't FWD as they have too much power. Given a certain power and weight FWD is king.

There was a article about it in car or evo can't remember which.
They compared a lotus elise to some other similarly powered FWD car on a twisty road and the jist of it was that the FWD was better in the corners at least because of the weight/power.
Im not a scientist and don't care about the actual physics or that sort of krap so can't remember why this was just that it was
and don't karts have the engine in the back? Makes sense to have them RWD then.

Dude just stop talking out your arse there is no way fwd is a better car
you dont need to care about the science or physics of all this but if your wrong then you probably should actually look at it and see
your just making yourself look an idiot...

In the rain rwd cars are far harder to drive, this is why they tend to go slower on the average track day with the investment banker behind the wheel.
If you can't appreciate or understand the maths behind it then you are in no position to go against it.
RWD VS FWD Spinning in the rain is all down to the polar moments of drive and the steering axis.
FWD can't really spin under power, only inertia, whereas rwd can do either. But with a good driver can use the power to modulate slip angles and lessen oversteer or understeer far more efficiently

Yes all car magazines talk out of their ass just because you don't want to believe something doesn't make it true

I fully accept RWD is quicker but comment I made was in wet with average person driving they are slower due to ability, which is true, that's all! I u disagree I don't care and cannot be bothered to continue thus petty argument as I have a life!

I agree, ability is a massive factor in any car test or comparison.
And Car magazine articles don't have to go through any legitimacy testing like proper books as they are pure opinion.
