Default Fitting cams and not mapping?

What would happen if I put in Newman ph3 cams in my 2002 vtr and didn't map them?

Still be ok to drive?

Will be getting supersprint manifold, all breathing mods supersprint center and a shitty cheap sounding backbox

would cams and decating it make it sound much better than a fart can? Lol Only using a shit backbox as it looks good

getting a 5 inch jap can to make you car sound 'modded' Is just baad.

All you'll be doing is annoying the neighbors and loosing back pressure. A supersprint or a omp 2/3 inch backbox, gives the perfect sound imo. Proper raspy, without being too loud.

Yes you can install them without mapping them. Meh you can install them on std markings.

Clearly wont get the most from them, but will still see a definite 10bhp increase. And a different powerband, while still being cheap. Leaving you cash for a 4-2-1, and decent suspension.

PH3 runs fine unmapped in a VTR. Probably looking in the region of 119-120bhp at the fly with breathing mods and the cam timing adjusted on the rollers.

Didn't mention any 5" jap ghetto blaster, it's a 3" duplex exhaust

I mean it will get remaped eventually

on my car i have a re-profiled cam and it has not been remapped, it runs ok but is a bit lumpy on tick over, i assume it will be the same with uprated cams
