Default Sub randomly booming

All was fine until the sub completely cut out for some reason... I disconnected it and connected it back up, now it's just booming uncontrollably.... Doesn't go to the rhythm of music and does it even when changing tracks.

I've got a video I'll upload later when I get on the laptop.

For now I've just disconnected the whole thing from the battery. Any ideas what could cause this?

Could be a dodgy earth connection. Personally I'd go over every connection.

You have what’s known as the heartbeat issue. As Jizanthapus correctly identified, it’ll be an earth.
