Saxo VTS Alarm Issue :(

Hay Guys,

Well, I've picked up another Saxo VTS for a Track Car but there is an issue with the central locking and alarm system it would seem.

Details of the symptoms -

- Will unlock/lock the car by key
- Fob does not work
- When you unlock the car and open the door, alarm goes off, indicators flash, but you can start the car and drive off and then eventually the alarm stops.

Has anyone experienced anything like this, any ideas as to what the cause or solution could be?

Or anyone know how I can just rip out the alarm if so, would it cause any issues to a potential immobiliser?

Yes unlock the car open the bonnet disconnect the battery put key in ignition turn to on postion reconnect battery
