Just read the whole thread, just thinking that the scene has died down alot now that Saxo's are getting into the hands of young, power craving drivers and then getting wrote off. The scene IMO is still there in certain places but its more bossed around by the big boys toys, Scooby's, Evo's etc.
I would love for the scene to be revived one day, have some new ideas with newer cars, but fun cars like the Saxo/106 is. This probably won't happen, from my memories my town was full of young driving enthusiasts in bodykitted cars which looked great at the time, me being 10-14ish (00-04). Some of these being Saxo's, but they seem to be driven by the older lot in their 20's instead now its the 17 year olds driving them because they are cheap and they are mostly ragged out standard Saxo's.
I can't help but think that people of my era have missed out on the car scene.

Thats what keeps me hanging onto mine its tried too kill me 3 times but the thought of a 17 year old binning my hard work and money aswell as a car i love now it looks how i want it is sickening and the easy access too finance isnt helping now as alot of people go straight too the factory styled quick cars as aposed too spending months saving away and planning your next mod

Gary Stone there is a name from the past, I can remember when he got his vts
That car was fast as standard, we used to go to the car club LOL
Then he started modding it in, I can remember when he built his first ram air kit it was like a raceland one but made of alloy LOL
