to many cars in at the mo to get room and time to do anymore to mine so ive been spending to much again
pugsport sump baffle kit fitted
mocal thermostat bought
got a few other bits that were a bargain, all will be reveiled next week when they turn up
and it may be a cheap temp engine but i couldnt put it in standard :twisted:
also a sad day as my old setup got picked up by its new owner on wednesday

got the cage welded in at the weekend and started to primer the floor
and some more bits arrived today
raceland for the temp 16v
and an innovate wideband 02 sensor that will hook up to my DTA and a blue digital gauge to go with it

cant bebeive it but 2 updates in a week :shock:
the cage is fully fitted now with doorbars, i need to get the dash cross section made up but thats it, im not going to add any more as this is primary a drag car and i need to keep the weight down, also painted the floor and just the laquer to go

small update on the ax been very busy lately so not had much time to spen on her
inside paint is all finished so bits can start to go back in
gearbox is all rebuilt and ready to go
and intercooler/rad combo is all fitted up and mounted
annoyingly the bad boy bonnet doesnt fit over the new headlamps so need a bit more time to work out how to close it proerly lol

i quit my job 2 weeks ago and im in the process of starting up on my own full time so not had much time to spend on her but im getting used to the power of my golf cab compared to my a class and van so need something faster hence why ive started on her again lol

i do it to all the box's we rebuild, they are stripped down the cleaned up with a drill and wire brush then i had 2 coats of paint then laquer
its a shit job to do but makes all the difference when its done
not sure if were keeing the tweeqd name ryan, tweeqd will always be plodding along but there isnt any money in mods we only really do it for the love, ill be setting up a different company to do service and rapair work in the week
