Wheel locking nut rounded off
I've come to remove the front wheels and it looks like someone has done the locking bolt up with an airgun and messed the bolt up.
Does anyone know if the standard citroen bolts are made of hardened steel or can I use a normal hss bit? My plan is to drill a 8mm hole then hammer a tx55 in the hole.

they will be a normal high tensile wheel bolt material, you'll need much more than a t55 bit in there, usually an old imperial socket smashed over the top does the job.

I did look at those but there's only around 4-5mm of depth on the head to grab onto.
I've got some titanium drill bits from work going to try that tonight.

Sometimes putting a larger socket over the locking wheel nut then tap it on.Then use a breaker bar.
