Hope you have a good size hdd as a full dvd is 8.4gb (or there abouts) as they are on dual layer dvd's... I suggest using some sort of ISO maker and then convert them to small avi files. Just search google for ISO maker and dvd to avi converter.

I can't remember the name of the software but I use an avi to ipod converter as it converts these large files into smaller files. You could probably get away with going as low as 800mb per movie tbh.

Drop me a PM if you want help fella!

sorry to dig up an old thread - the program I use is called AutoGK. Really easy to use. Basically, tell it what drive the DVD is in, tell it where you want it to save and the maximum size you want the files to be, and click go - it'll do the rest itself, getting the best quality for the size you selected.

If the DVD is protected as some of them are, use DVD Decrypter to unlock the DVD. I think this comes with AutoGK
