A good discussion with marcus schossow was that he makes more in a year djing than he has in 7 years of productions. However he couldnt get the djing gigs unless he was making a ame for himself as a producer.

oh yeh already know that bud, known schossow for about three years now id say. cool guy.
only way to get gigs is if your name gets about as a producer first. thats why I always tell producers who are asking for help. you must learn to dj aswell as produce the market today you need both sides or it just aint gonna happen im affraid lol.
I did it hte other way around I learnt to dj and last 4 years been making tunes. and this year its only starting to show. so that tells you how long it can take to get into the scene properly.
only couple I know of who dont dj but have made a name as a producer is static blue and kopi luwak. kopi is learning though ableton live sheesh haha.
as the saying goes all work no play. even when doing a gig its work but at the sametime you got to enjoy it. im sure you're the same with the photo side of it all
. be pointless doing such a thing in a sector that you would not like eh! haha
