Default Highest quote you can find

Basically I'm bored and thought I'd ask whats the highest insurance quote you can find with your correct details. I just went on confused.com and scrolled to the bottom. £9,188

For the actual car you own?

When i insured the golf, i went to the bottom and it was about 3k.. Suppose it is a 1997 piece!

Last time I went shopping for a decent quote, I also looked at the worst ones. Can't remember the companies but the bottom one had £15.000 showing up on my screen...

Mine only comes out at £1564 as the most expensive on the Golf! I still pay less than £400 so its still 3-4x as much...

I was quoted for fully comp with Aviva over £14,950 When I asked them about it they even thought something was wrong with the quote they spoke to managers about it and managed to get down to £11,487. Advised and asked me if I would like to place insurance with them. I said do you do mortgagees on cars to pay for insurance. Response no. I said well theirs your answer.

Decided to do one just for this topic as renewal is due in Aug so here we go.

Coming in at £9983.00 think ill pass on them for my 03 VTS

That's for the year fully comp, I use a local company as I live in the Channel Islands and I've been driving 10 years.

My highest was £9500 and my cheapest was £1300 which I had to pay! Does not help having no no claims, plus the thieving bastards charge you more if you have a kid under 16!
