1. take recovery CD
2. insert at startup.
3. Choose "format"
4. tell your "cousin" not to look for porn

Download:
Spybot search and destroy
Malware bytes anti malware
Install them if u can, then load windows into safe mode and run both scans, making sure both programs are fully up to date. Should remove all virus/trojan/malware it finds. Reboot and it should be ok.

Easy.
Download this 1st: Linky
Let that run and clean out all your temp files and rubbish not needed.
Then download this: Linky
and run that, if the virus prevents it from running (which some do, in particular "anti virus system pro" which is a complete nob to get rid of) dont worry about it, just turn off your system, and turn it back on, as soon as it starts booting start hitting f8 and you will get a list come up, choose "safe mode with networking" and then run malware bytes in that, should get rid of any nasty things youve got on your system.
Drop me a PM if you run into any problems.
Joe

If you cant get any of the programs to install and run to clean anything then try removing the HDD and plugging in as a slave into another system and run scans that way.
Failing that, a reformat. But you should be able to remove the malware/virus/etc..., ive had some pretty bad ones over the years and have never had to reinstall, jsut used the said programs above, as well as the ones i stated and it cleaned them all up.
