Freeview TV/Box
My new TV has freeview built in.. The extra channels i get are:
ITV2
BBC3
BBC4
CH4+1
More4
E4
ITV+1
BBC HD
ITV HD
and the news and kids channel..
I was wondering, if i buy a set top freeview HD recorder box, do i get more channels, or will it simply be the save channels with the ability to record them?
If so, could someone list the kinda channels you get.. Seeing if its worthwhile buying one..

Freeview is the same on a box or built in to the TV. It will just enable recording I think.
Depending on your TV you might be able to record if you get an external hard drive.

Ahh, just wondered if there was more channels thats all.. Didn't know if a TV came with some sort of basic version or something..
Not really too fussed about recording, just thought if there is a load more channels, its worth the extra few quid to get recording aswell..

Get freesat and you will get a few more channels, although nothing worth mentioning
