Portable Hard drives
Anyone any experience on these?
Ive had memory sticks, but they just dont cut the rough and tumble of life and give up after a while.
Im looking for something fairly robust, fairly cheap(ish), small size and around the 500mb + mark.
Not bothered about colour etc (Not blazing pink or anything though)
Just after some ideas as i need one for work.
thanks

Like Brettles says, if it doesn't actually have to be portable, I'd just upgrade your hard drive.. I was using a portable one for films and music, turned out easier just to put a bigger second HDD in my laptop and HDMI it to my tv

I'd recommend one of these.
I've got the older version (1tb) and its a good few years old, gets used daily and is still fine.

You can probably get one cheaper elsewhere, it was just the first google result

I've actually been looking at some myself today. Ebuyer indeed is cheap as you're probably going to get.

Yeah same here, bought a DSLR now so want to store photos as well as the other stuff (porn) on there, my 250Gb isn't going to cut it anymore.
p.s. If any of you use Google Chrome browser then download the extension called 'Invisible Hand'. It searches for the best possible price for an item when a price is displayed on a site, it is not always the exact same product though so be careful.
