Hey mate, yeh you have near enough the same problems as me with the dodgy idle and kangerooing if you try to crawl along in 1st (i also tried letting first gear push the car along and it rolls nice & smooth) Iv got a std single plug ECU magnex manifold back decatted system & std manifold (this weekend im gonna fit a raceland & i have a spar o2 sensor if i can get it off the other car which i'll swap and see if i notice any changes.
When the car is cold it seems to run alright after about 3500rpm its nippy too but between about 1500 and 3000 its really sluggish like a lack of torque. Ive fitted the stand airbox etc back on last night but i havent had a proper test of it yet, it didnt feel any better on the drive home though.
When its on autochoe it pulls away ok but then theres that drop which feels ike the cars getting sucked backwards untill its above 3500 again.
When warm the idles quite bad, the rev needle constantly has a little movement in it like its vibrating & every now and then the rev drop down to abu 500rpm (which is very shakey) but then it catches it before it stalls and brings the idle back up again.
Bloody annoying though pulling away from lights / roundabouts when i need to give it a bit more boot to get me going!

Cooloant reads perfectly normal... Look, I guess it's just the cylinder head...
Tickover is different I suppose... THe head is not designed to be run at that RPM, and when coming off throttle higher in the revs and getting a jerking is probably just another feature of the head... I give up on this now.

Is your car tuned at all?
If not, then something ain't right mate. I'd get a diagnostics done at a dealership... I know it sounds like a bit of a cop out, but it could save you a lot of time in the long run.

Not much of an update, but some cool pics... I was sick of cables hanging out everywhere, so I did a wee tidy up. I took out all the airbag stuff, as it wasn't needed anymore.
Look at all the loom!
And the good news was the the airbag light on the dash went out, how cool!
I had the whole of today free to relax and play Forza 2 on the Xbox, (how exciting is my life?!) but can you believe it, it broke! I have the system just 1 week, and it throws in the towel. I got on the blower to the Microsoft chappies, and sorted out a repair, so it's not so bad, but, I have to wait 3-4 weeks! FFS...
Because of this tragic event, I now had nothing to do. I have never waxed the car before, only polished it, so decided to get some wax and slug it out in the hot weather. After washing, polishing AND waxing with the help of this stuff:
I ended up with this:
By pure chance, my fag smoke got in the way of this snap, but I thought it looked quite funny...

Thank you all.
Rushy, in that last picture, it's actually sitting a couple of mm lower at the rear than normal. This is because the driveway slopes downwards slightly, so when you apply the handbrake, the rear goes down a bit and the front goes up a tad. Anyway, it's a 35mm drop at the front, and the rear has been adjusted to match. I've got the exact same gap (front and back) from the top of the tyre to the arch.
Ruffboy, I won't be selling them anytime soon, as i've only just bought them! But they weren't expensive... Contact Speedline Corse direct for your best deal.

Ahh I see Toad, still looks perfect anyways. You made such a good move going
from the Super Turismo's to the Speedlines!
Being honest, your cars a good example at how a subtle 106 should look mate, be proud
