Ah, so you were incognito! That'll be why I didn't spot you.
That was my first time out with the new engine. I was happy with the performance, but my suspension and grip levels left a lot to be desired.

lifeline device looks ace dave!! I want one and a nice aftermarket wheel as there's been a few breaking on my street recently and the rallye should be coming back to my house soon rather than being locked up in a garage 2 miles away.
security first and all that

Lee - The RMD wheels I've got wasn't expensive at all. Get one from RallyDesign. On the other hand, the Lifeline cost a small fortune. Glad you like. I love it!
Steph - Thanks, appreciate the comment.
Tufty - I try to. Done a few different tracks now.

+1 on the RMD wheels - mine is spot on and could buy 2 of them for the price of other wheels

Depending which way everythings connected up you can leave all internal wiring etc fully setup and actually loop in the cut off switch on the single cable that runs directly to the starter motor - hence no power to starter only.

That kind of kills the point of a kill switch though Matt? There incase you have an accident, if it wired to the started motor it wont actualy kill the engine. Just kill the starter motor which is already dead at the time.
Lifeline looks awesome Dave. Need a fire lifeline now!

I'm not going to make any comments on the kill switch, as I'm out of my element. Not a clue...
Thanks Aron.
You reckon? All that added weight...
Lee, you flush git. Where's all the money just come from? Hehe. Do it!
Bear in mind, if you pull the seat back, you'll need to consider extended the pedals too, not just the wheel...
Thanks Ads man.
Welcome anytime!

Aly - Thanks for the comments.
I had it weighed over a year ago and it was 750kg with road tyres and no fuel. A fiar few things have changed since then. It's got heavier tyres on, a heavier dash, but lot's of other lighter things. So I've actually not got a clue of its exact weight.
Aron - 15kgs!!? I'd rather burn... lol.
Lee - You're a dealer aren't you.

I thought it would be too close too Josh. I had considered a non-dished steering wheel just in case. But after fitting it, I can't believe just how much I love it.
