May see it in the flesh one day.
Maybe sort the ecu issue, dont want it to fail in germany
I have a 3 plugger mapped to 708's for sale if u want it as a get me home?

Thanks for the comments mate. It does pretty good round the track. Will be a lot faster in the very near future.
That's OK about the ECU. I don't know whether that's the issue at the moment, could be a million and one different things...
Proper ECU going in soon.

Popped into the local RR this afternoon. Thought if i'm going to get bodies soon, might be interesting to get a little before and after done...
This was the best out of the first 3 runs:
Not very impessive eh? 120bhp at the fly. Look how crazy the plot is too. :noo:
We noticed that there were some errors on the ECU. Which were:
1) Single / multiple misfire detected
2) Air leak detected
3) ECM / PCM processor malfunction - I've had this ever since Wayne mapped the ECU.
We cleared those, and did a run straight after and got this:
137bhp at the fly. Much better, a much smoother curve too. Still, way down on power. I had it on the same rollers over a year ago and it made 150bhp.
The car also feels really rough around 2000 - 2500rpm. Kindda makes a "na na na na na na" noise, and is a little jerky. Really don't know whether to carry on with it or just flog it now TBH. If I KNEW bodies would make it all gravy, I'd probably do it. But I'm worried there might be some underlying issues, and i'm not sure whether to throw more moeny into it now or not...

thats a bit of shit result, but its on the road where it really counts, how does it feel apart from the 2-2500rpm Toad?
First graph is shocking tbh, but much smoother after the faults were cleared.
I'd say after you remove half of the shit french sensors (by going boddies) & have a nice reliable ecu your going to be happy mate. I can recommend the kms, had only a couple of weird issues with mine (wideband got stuck for 2mins once), but apart from that its sweet, and just to prove it, it started up first time after being stood for 6months with wideband working spot on! I know a few people have had issues but i wouldnt let that put you off the kms.
p.s better get it sorted as we'll be on the way to the ring in 3weeks & 2 days

Ditch the 3 plug, you are going to need a proper ECU for TB's anyway!

Neither graphs have particularly good curves. Did Wayne use a generic map or did he live map if for you?

A live map I would have hoped!
This is the worst RR result I've ever had. Not sure what's going on. The ECU was in some kind of limp mode before the DTCs were erased. Perhaps it needs a little while to settle back in? Worth another RR TBH.

Yes mate, plans are still alive!
After seeing what happened to Ry, and seeing that it wasn't his fault, it's put the fear into me!

Was mapped to 708's pugsport exhuast, decat and simota induction iirc. Have no idea how itll run your engine as you had problems before with the bv head didnt you? But if yours gives up the ghost itll get you home i guess.

No issues with the head. However, it was mapped before the head went on, and also with an exhaust which wouldn't allow more power than 140bhp. Sorted the exhaust, then it made 153 on Wyane's rollers, without altering the map. He said that was par for the course on the 3 pluggers, so we left it at that.
I put the BV head in about 6 months afterwards.
Did you use this ECU then? DId you ever have issues with the management light coming on? I get ECM / PCM failure on constant. Always comes back after clearing. Wayne didn't know what to do about it, but didn't think it affected the mapping...
Anyway, it's clear as day, that yesterday's efforts of clearing the DTCs made a big difference. It was in some kind of limp mode. How? I don't know... But interestingly, the limp mode didn't seem to affect the fuelling, as it was still safe.
