Playstation 3 - Saxperience

I've just bought a playstation 3 with MotorStorm and Virtual Fighter 5... Didn't really think these two games were that interesting.

Does anyone own one? Also does anyone know of any good games? Was thinking about Fall of Man but i downloaded a demo and its bloody hard!!!

Adz, fall of man is easy once you get to grips with it. Better online than COD, although cod offline is much better.

I have f1.. graphics on that are immense
Fall of man .. it's ok
Cod .. again ok but online just sucks
ridge racer .. shit dont get it

I'd advise getting f1, it drags on a bit having to qualify each race but the game is still brilliant.

Its wireless so you just need a wireless router

yeah il second that F1 is wicked, and you dont have to do the qualifying if your good enough lol

i have just bought rainbow 6 vegas, and its well good, would definately recommend it the online section is the best i have played on a ps3 so far

broadband and a wireless router or a non wireless if u got ethernet cable its pretty easy to set up mate theres a network setup - setup jobby in one of the menus

yes mate you can, if your friend is playing online you can join his game. also you can play split screen with 2 people and then against people over the net or co op story mode, its wicked

only got it the other day mate but its definately worth it, online is cool as you get points for how well you do in a game, the points then unlock different uniforms and equipment for your character, there are loads of different things to choose from so you can design your character just how you want

That sounds cool, it's good to hear PS3 finally has a game with good online capabilities! I heard the graphics were poor unless you changed the resoultion or something though.. that sounds kind of daunting lol

ive got my ps3 on an HD tv with an HDMI cable so its running at 1080pi however i havent check the games options to see if i can change it, but from the default settings the graphics are actually pretty good, something could be improved like the physics of the smoke grenades (now where near as good as COD) but it has cool things like the screen mists up when someone fire tear gas at you.
the AI are also clever and its easy to get them to do stuff like frag a room, often games like this only work on a pc due to the complicate amount of controls but i was really impressed at just how playable this is.

Aye you can change it Jim, from the reviews i've read it says change it to 800 or something close to that number and the graphics will become allot sharper. If and when I get it I will have a bash online with you, need to get a headset really as well lol

oh ok didnt know that will check out the resolution thing tomoz, luckily you can choose to mute players using a headset so you dont have to listen to 12 year old american kids lol
