Yup yup, saves 17kg's all in over the standard boot with glass, so quite a good weight saving there. Just need a bonnet now... But no one makes them!

I'd hope so, I've managed to get a few track days in before the ring trip this year so sub 9mins should be possible again this year

josh have you spoke to ccf about a bonnet? i would think that they would be able to do it a mk1 bonnet skin isnt that complex and they could bond a carbon skin to a fibreglass frame and you have your bonnet then. just an idea man
still tinted like a boss!

Josh this car keeps getting better and better. Way back when you had the feature you were running gti leathers. What was the reason to go down the buckets/cage route then? Just to do more track days etc?

I have left it in the capable hands of Josh to secure some orders and we will then get mk1 bonnets out into production, full pre preg carbon inside and out, around 3.5kg in weight

Thanks mate, if you read the old PFC feature I said that I wanted to go down the track route back then because I enjoyed track days so much, so I guess Ive pretty much achieved that now

30th July @ the walkers mate, tickets are £28 I think. Will be the second time in a year I've seen real play, last time was against LA galaxy in LA lol!
