Brighton for a night out?

Going Brighton on Sat for my mate's birthday just wondering what the nightlife is like and any clubs/pubs anyone can recommend and any cheap travelodge's or hotel's?

And yes I know it's the gay capital of England!

Its a really good night out, has a nice varied mix of bars/clubs with lots of nice boutique hotels and arty people aswell. I love the place for a night out tbh, and the 'GAY' scene tends to stay in its own places anyway.

We didn't go far - consisted of drinking at Red's place, then Hannah collected us, off to Nat's, Yates, Tried Walkabout but I got rejected for been too drunk and then Digital was it?

TBH one of the best clubs in Swindon, where i live, is a gay bar. More straight people than gay tbh.

Honey and coalition are virtually next to each other, just west of the pier on the sea front. Volks is a few hundred meters down the road, just on the other side of the pier.

Get pissed wherever beforehand really, there are loads of good bars!

No, if you wanna go anywhere you have to pay. Honey is under £10 usually. Look on DSI it will have prices on the event pages if you click on the event.

Yea avoid Oceana like the plague! just full of chavs trying to pick a fight. Go to the Font, Belushi's (seafront) Honey Club is ok, and Oxygen and Oxygen Red the shot bars, pretty decent nights out to be fair
