Got a set mate
If it's raining, the T.D's are staying on with the Michelins :-/
Could do with finding a set of wets just for the track actually. Shame the VTR wheels are flat bolts. I can't use them on the stud conversion now. Unless I carry another set of bolts around!!

Decent! You'll be better on the yokos unless it's really really wet.
It's one thing I've never had on a track day, full wets.
Remember going out in my mates Leon Race car (the time attack one) on inters and we were pretty much the fastest thing there by a long way!

I just hope I can unlock my brain and get around the track quickly enough to get the tyres to do what they do best!!
I'm seriously thinking about getting some tuition on the day... even if it's only for a few laps so the guy can tell me to stop being a pussy and go faster or what. I can learn lines and have a good feel for them after reading some really good guides online so I just need to know how fast I should be hitting places I guess.
Either way, I'm really looking forward to it!!

It'll be the best money you spend tbh.
My Dad had tuition at Cadwell and it made him faster by going slower. I know that's sounds Irish but its true through certain sections.
Oulton is a really technical circuit and awesome when you get it right. End of he day it's not about breaking records but it'll give you a lot more confidence.
I can talk you round of you can't get tuition though. I'm no expert but mate who races the RX said my lines etc were perfect, but I wasn't hitting the kerbs as much as him!

Sounds like a plan. Just hope I can get my passenger seat fitted then
Going to try and get a crack on with the car next week. Got a mate coming for a service and I need to give Nic's car a right good tidy up after last weekend!
Need to get a new windscreen fitted too

Is that Mr Leigh's?
I've got more bloody tyres than I can shake a stick at! Slicks, A048's, T1R's and wets! I need more rims now

My other mate Dobbo raced with you too, have you seen his RX in Lightning McQueen guise?

No worries Pete.
Thats ACE!!!!! I want to see him racing with the eyes on it still! hahaha
Mike, You want to shift any tyres for cheap let me know
Really looking forward to getting on with these tyres! Hoping to have the car roadworthy so I can drive it there and back too. Will work out cheaper than renting a transporter now I got a decent quote on the insurance!!

The two Skylines are running around 700-800bhp and the Monaro is a beast too! My mates RX is ONLY 450 at the wheels....lol
