Think the older 40gb ps3's came with backward gaming to start with but think they did away with it and put it on the 60gb instead.

might invest in a 40gb ps3, as the only downsides for me are the less usb ports and backwards compat which i wont use much anyways, as long as it has wireless and new games arent effected because its the 'cheaper' model then im fine, i presume it has a HDMI output?
