This pic was taken by a mobile phone... (UPDATED: Better pics to show the quality!)
This was taken using my new Samsung i8510 Innov8 which replaced my N96.
If any1 is considering buying a new phone I'd recommend this an alternative to the Nokia N96 due to in being a little more powerful & a little less mainstream.
I love my new Samsung Innov8

dude i reckon the 5mp camera on the n96 would have taken a better pic as Nokias quality is great for a 8mp fone u cant really notice that picture quality tbh

Yea I got it when i last week seein as every1 else i knew was upgrading to it, not a bad phone tbh but i just thought it was a tweaked N95 & it coulda been so much more... gave it back within the week cooling off period & swapped for the Innov8.
Still thoroughly impressed with this phone even though i can't take a decent pic myself!

Okay my first pic on this thread wasn't great & didn't really show how gd the quality of the camera is on the phone. At the Scottish meet today i took loadsa different pics & these maybe reflect what the cam is capable of a bit better than post 1....
The rest of my meet pics can be seen here in post number 3 & 4...

I don't know the 1st thing about taking pics so these are just point & shoot pics but you still get a feel for the quality -video capture is just as sharp.
I still love this phone!!!

lol, no pleasing sum ppl!
fair enough tho mate, i had a K8' & would say it's definetly one of the best phone's i've ever owned & would highly recommend it now since the prices have fell a gd bit for them but i wouldn't say the pics turn out like that.
but feel free to post sum up for a comparison if you want

Tocco has a gd cam mate, i'm no gona deny you that -the omnia uses the same cam components & gives the same results.
The Omnia is one of the best selling phones out on the market today but it's under going an 8MP revamp & being named the Bresson (or M400 Pixon -whatever you prefer) cause at the end of the day the better the MP count the better the resolution will be.

top post shows the said 8mp camera
only two of them out just now iirc.
mine (Samsung i8510) and the SE C905
SE has slightly better quality but shit firmware so i thought the samsung to be the best bet!
