VTS anti roll bar powdercoat
My VTS front anti roll bar is heavily corroded and pitted , once i have cleaned it up and removed all the original black powdercoat i will be looking to get it recoated . The factory pc is very thick and i am not sure if the place i use will be able to replicate that , i could paint it but i am not sure that will stand up to the elements long term - what finish have others done on their a/roll bar ?

Powdercoat lasted longer than paint, but due to the location, neither were a permanent solution.

Get it shot blasted, galvanised then powder coated. 20+ years out of it easy

I prepped the anti roll bar myself in the end and sanded as much of the pitting down as i could , sent it for Zinc plating in silver then i have just painted it with satin black tough paint - looks good and should stand up well .
