I know just pissed it got key'd then driven into. I know it don't look bad but it'll bug me till its fixed. Not going through insurance as that was a joke so gonna start saving.
Ordered a new backbox too as that decided to fall off as rust had eaten it through, good excuse for a stainless tho

right all coming along nicely now, nearly booked in for repair damage. and managed to fit all new white LED's except front sidelights.
exhaust is still sooting up so still isn't that loud which is a good thing I guess but sounds good on the revs which is all that matters

well I thought to myself I have a spare 20mins before needing to go out, i'll replace them sidelights, wow pass side done few seconds, drivers side lil more effort, ok done.....until I heard a pingk.... bloody led had fallen out of the holder and rattling around in my headlight!!!!! so drop the bumper in freezing conditions, took some time then off with headlight!!! then all back together all in all 3hrs. what a faff
but does now match att the hids in the car.
still to refurb the brakes and lines and order then new discs n pads then I think I'm done for a lil while as bank balance needs to recover

Well I finished work last night and as most people were already finished and prob enjoying themselves the road was empty, so thought lovely a spirited drive ...... But then disaster struck the cat shat itself across the road and was stuck only able to do 6.5k revs so that was the end of that spirited drive. Came home read up, basically my cats on its way out so is now blocked which means cars fubar'd to drive excitedly. But has given opportunity for a new stainless sports cat. Now hopefully it's the last of the stuff to go wrong can't afford much more.

Same I had one a few years back only had it for a summer poss 3-4 months then got rid but I had to get another.
The American rx forum seems to state silver rexs seem to be the most cursed out of them all. Fingers crossed bad luck has ended as put too much money into this now to quit

and new magnetic sump plug
still have battery to fit, crest to clean up and brakes to start refurbing and painting as well as all new discs and pads all round to fit.

ok today I finally got round to doing full oil change to premium 10w-40 oil new filter and magnetic sump plug fitted. boom first on list
second sports cat fitted. my god it sounds amazing, quiet subdued on idle and low revs perfect for neighbours and put your foot down and hear the roar and the sound of the gods.
next is calipers, lines and discs n pads all round with something a lil special

well after the first real oil change today was secondary change to make sure its all done now, so now thats off the list sorted a new side mirror after smashing the last one.
spent the day decorating the house and in between drying cracked on was hand polishing the crest looks miles better than when I received it.
and a shot I just like
and these little beauties are hopefully next on the list, then match them to the refurbed calipers

its like most stories come from those who have no idea bout them and how to use them.
I had no idea bout them till I went on all the forums. I know since I got it a few bit have gone wrong but its only been exhaust stuff and minor items that I would class as wear n tear. mechanically its sound and the joy it gives on a empty bypass is amazing.

finally fitted my new battery and reset the ecu and all the other bits that need to be done. still on for discs and pads as bank balance still isn't up to it. and found a place to clean up my calipers ready for their refurb.
and still need to save for the damage to be resprayed. other than that I want some new rims which are £500 and to top the system a stainless manifold. still scared to get a compression test but need one to know whats happening altho all feels good. and need to put a video up of the backbox as it sounds so good. things keep going up in rx forums forsale sections that I want as need ot get it lowered but again funds are limited. need a lotto win

there's one around the block here, going for 800. Looks ok, but it's not selling, obviously 500 tax, same insurance group as an m3, 20mpg, drinks oil and a bad reputation. At 800 quid I was wondering what's wrong with it.
