Alright guys..
The girlfriend wants a BlackBerry for Christmas and i was wondering which is the best one to get?
I was thinking along the lines of a Curve 8900, or the Curve 8520?
These seem to be the ones popular? No?
I think they both lack 3g, which she isn't bothered about to be honest.
Can anyone help with my choice?
Cheers

8900 curve, i have one and its an awesome phone.
I prefer it to the 8520 as it had a better camera and i prefer a trackball to the new scroll device.

+1 ive got the Curve and think its a great phone. Although the trackball can get a little clogged up with shit, grease etc. so the scroll one looks quite cool.

You're telling me, try fixing french cars day in day out. I've just had a replacement curve after someone decided to spill oil over mine.
By the way, make sure you get her a BB on contract, get blackberry services and some kind of insurance on it!

blackberrys rock, id go 8900 over the 8250, the scroll wheel is much better imo and theres a few more extras on the 8900

Not used the the 8520 but the 8900 looks nicer, better stuff on it and the scroll ball too.

I've got the 8900 and love it! I wanted the iPhone orignally but went for the blackberry. The handset is a decent size, not to big, not too small and once you get used to using the QWERTY keyboard (took me about half hour) you'll never wan't to use a touch screen again. The 8250 is a waste of money imo, screen resolution isn't great and as James said, that scroll thing is pretty poor.
