Guide: Backing Up your iPod

There is weekly threads on how to back up your iPod so i have written this easy guide on how to do it on a mac or windows

Windows:
Open the iPod through My Computer
Set your folder Options to show hidden files
Navigate through your iPod until you find lots of F** files
Copy and paste these files to a sensibly named folder on your desktop
Depending on the size of you iPod it may take a while
Once completed add these files to iTunes.
iTunes should recognise the song name etc... But if not just re-name them
Now you have backed up your iPod

On a Mac:
Open Terminal
Type defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles TRUE
killall Finder Hit enter
Now follow the same steps above starting from the navigate to the F** files
Once all of it has been completed re-open Terminal
Type defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles FALSE
killall Finder
Again now you have backed up your iPod.
