slight knocking ? - Saxperience

right its going to be awkward to describe,

wheel im in traffic i.e 5mph or so i get a slight knock when i accelrate and a slight knock when come off the accerator,, it sounds as its coming from the middle of the car i.e nitrually under the dash in the middle... but not 100% sure as i knock a knock under a car could proberly vibrate the whole floor.. but just wondered if any one knew what it could be ?

it could be your steering track rack end ball with play in it it will knock a little when getting on or off the throtle

does it happen when you are going straight or turning? or both?

mine does that like but its when im going slightly faster, turns out my cv joint gaiter is just split. just check them see if they are ok. if they are split theyl be leaking grease everywhere so youl know if its that

sounds like the lower engine mount. The engine swinging about when changing speed

i'd say engine mount too. Used to be very common on older cars with weaker mounts / steadies

right not sure wether its the engine mount or not.. but when the cars stationary and i rev it and let go of pedal it doesnt knock.. but when im driving and let of the pedal it knocks and when pressed again it knocks again

sounds likes its coming inline with the exhaust under neath the dashboard under the car... maybe abit closer to the engine.. but sounds centrul in middle of car near engine end.. is really annoying.. could it still be engine mount evan though it doesnt knock when stationary ??

i have the same issue a knocking when accelerating and letting off had new driveshafts and grp n gearbox and engine mounts and new front sus tops and still does it some one suggested the wishbone bushes or arb??
