Thought you had to get the head skimmed ?? Jason told me that the head had just been done a couple of days before I picked it up ??

Yes, AFTER i had the engine running, and running badly. Thats when the head came off and was replaced, as it was warped and pissing oil down to the alternator and the opposite end.

Funnily enough, it ran on all 4 after that.

It only went bang because I ran it on 100% Avgas..

try it on your car and you'll see what happens in about 10minutes..

this Doms old engine in question here? if so, when it left us,as i recall it was spares or repair, for one, i'd never let a good S engine go for that money, and secondly, if it was 100% why would we have taken it out of Doms car?

can't remember if we changed head gasket on it or not prior to it going out, if we changed it, it'd be a multi-layer one

No I sold it for £100 I swapped my low milage vtr engine with you for a (good) bare Vts engine if you can remember . I'll speak with my dad but I'm 100% sure you said it was a good engine .

Indeed you were, I can confirm Mikol and Nino both saw the engine when it went into its faulty mode, and stall from going 60-70 to having no power and dropping speed trying to stall to 10mph in seconds.

I was told a month or so ago that you knew it had crank wobble. Not saying who told me, because I know they don't want to be named.

When I fitted the engine, It never came apart. Until AFTER i had it running. When I did the cam ladders. Internally, I hadn't touched anything.
2 other people confirmed the engine was a dud, one of them claiming the engine to of been his previously, and pointed out marks and faults on it..which were correct.

You later gave it all this, saying you couldn't give a fuck if it was fucked or not etc etc, which to me are the signs of a guilty concience.

Anyway, enough of that.. its in the past.

Sounds like one of the many problems that engine had, pissed out onto the cambelt area as well, soaked cambelt = ticking time bomb.

Indeed Jase is very good at what he does, had a bit of work and parts off him myself. 2-3 engines over the years? and a Gearbox, which was still mint and Mikol wanted to nick for years!!!
