I bought the Turtle beach X1 from a website at the time for about £30, it retails just over £50 i think.
It's probley the best value one although it isn't wireless and you have alot of cables everywhere.

i got the x11s mate they the best wired ones out there  dnt see the point for a wireless you have to keep buying battreys all the time plus its only one cable anyway

ive got the x1s. great buy imo.
helped me out alot in my clan days haha.
wired are the best. wireless dont hold their charge for long !!!

i used to have x31's and x1's. x31's were amazing sound quality but the batteries ran out all the time

I Had x1s and bought the x41s and rechargeable batteries 
X11s will be sufficient - i have x41s due to my major time investment in competetive gaming

When I worked in game I remember they were bloody expensive.. Think I was the only one to sell a £150 turtle beach headset  .
....Got to be perfect for that money. No way I'd spend that sort of dollar on a headset though even if it is.

I bought the x41's randomly one day. I got pissed off with some turd muncher who seemed to know where I was all the time on MW2, he told me he could hear me with his surround sound headphones so I thought fuck it, and went to Game and bought some.
They're mint. ok they cost a LOT, but the quality is really crisp and detailed. And I use them for everything not just nerding, I'll use them for Blurays and listening to music late at night as they're very comfortable. They don't isolate external noises which may or may not be a problem. And they can gobble batteries if you don't use a rechargeable set. So buy the headphones, buy 4 AAA's, and a AAA charger, stick 2 in the headphones and 2 on the charger then just swap around when the headphones die. Sorted.

my x11's cost me about £40 (normally £50 odd) iirc got them from HMV and luckily enough there was a sale on
