Wishbone rear mounts?
I've just spotted that AwesomeGTi do the Vibra technics mounts for a couple quid less than the Spoox ones PLUS AwesomeGTi is only up the road from me.
Anyone got any experience with either or both.
I guess I'd like to know if they are worth the rather large chunk of my remaining budget or if the standards are not too dissimilar?

Yeah your right most of the Spoox products are made by other company's with the Spoox logo or sticker added after manufacturing.

Imo this is literally the best mod you can do
miles better than a lower brace
Stops castor changes under hard braking accelerating and keeps things a lot straighter when you do brake hard cause things like the toe angles are suddenly effected when your wheels move backwards in the arch cause the rear bush flexes the front acts as a pivot and the wheels swing back
very worthwhile mod but you can get away with standard items quite happily unless your stamping on 4 pots with sticky tyres but even on cheap tyres youll feel the difference in it all

Thanks guys. I thought they looked VERY similar!
I'll have a tot up later and see what budget I've got left then. Don't suppose anyone knows of any going cheap and are they as difficult as some people make out to fit?

Tempted but I've got a set of the fronts now inn a set of wishbones but the ball joints are split so I'm going to transfer the fronts into the old wishbones (the old ones are in pretty good nick to be fair) I was just wondering weather it's worth getting the rears done while I've got them off.

I know there was some similar looking ones in circulation a few years ago that had a habit of dying fairly quickly. Still don't know if they are the same as the Vibra-Technics ones though. I have a feeling the ones that died quite quickly used nylon inserts as opposed to rubber?
If anyone can shed any light on the above, then please post up. According to Vibra-Technics, their rear wishbone bushes should have a greater life expectancy than standard items, and have 5 times the load capacity.
IIRC, the Polybush ones are ~£120 delivered. £106 from Vibra-Technics for theirs.

im not sure if it was these ones you mean but i do know of an old type of bush (i cant remember who made them though) which id heard had stop being made were totally nylon and bolted up like the spoox/vibratecniks ones
they had a fatal flaw in the bolts would pull through the nylon meaning the back end of the wishbone would come totally free from the car
the alloy spoox ones are a lot better in design than these
ive seen some poly race ones ive seen are of a different construction and dont look like they would fail
seem similar to the genuine pug sport items in construction and they dont have any problems

I'm sure I saw a photo of them on someones thread last year or something. The full nylon type that is.
Do think the spoox/vibratechnics ones look like they would take a fair bit of stick!
I might keep an eye out for a set or get some new for christmas lol
They deffo seem to be a good upgrade though from what has been said on here and other sites i've looked at.

If you can find some AX brackets off a Mk1, you can fit the AX Mk1 polybush rear bushes but the brackets are rocking horse.

the full nylon ones were made by Shenpar iirc... the design was only flawed by people overtightening them and splitting the plastic... they also wore quite quickly but they were designed as a cheap disposible part for there rally cars.. not a road car that expected 1000`s of miles out of them....

I use vibratechnics rear mounts. They are not the same as my old spoox ones. The vibra ones have small rubber insert too. Will post a few pix later.

I'd be up for a group buy.
I got quoted £106.20 posted from Vibratechnics for a pair.
