54 Civic Type R - First real clean
Hi guys,
It was a nice day today so out came the cleaning gear 
2 bucket method with autoglym shampoo
Dry down
Turtle Wax
Buff off
Megs Tyre Gel on the tyres
Autoglym window polish on the glass all round
Engine cleaned with wirebrushes and various cloths, along with lots of WD-40 
What do you think?!

It did indeed mate 
cost me just over 7k, not bad as its a 54 plate. with 44k miles and full honda history

haha that second one is well dodgy, owner trying to pass a '03 for a '04 by changing the grill and front bumper.

lol, there are some serious bargains out there at the moment, but be carful! There are alot of dodgy type R's out there! I had a look at 4 others till i found this one! so many have been involved in crashes and the owners trying to cover them up! 2 / 4 others i looked at were crashed repaired but didnt show on a HPI check.
So just a heads up for anyone looking to buy a CTR in the future

How is this dodgy ? My old saxo was a 2003 car, on a 52plate, i wasnt passing that off as something its not by selling it as a '2003 Saxo Vtr'. If the v5 says the car was made in 2004, then its a 2004 car, regardless of the number plate, as they run into the next year, nothing dodgy there.
Back to thread, very nice car mate, looks very clean.

i was wrong about the number plate age, but the owner has changed parts what i mentioned and to say it hasnt been is a lie.

Oh fair enough, could always have been previous owners and he's just not as clued up about new and old bumpers, because i wouldnt have noticed that.

Im 21, 2 yrs no claims, Fully comp insurance with £500 excess, costs me £1450 a year. Tesco insurance, if anyone wondered, would highly recomend them for cheaper quotes
