Yes I do.... I converted mine from air cooled just to give a little extra cooling.

However, most people i've talked to have said air cooled are just as good nowadays...

Air cooled are simpler to plumb in, etc... it's your choice Iguess?

water cooled will help extend life of turbo ,especially in a confined and hot place like a saxo (right behind hot air from rad!!,and anything that lowers charge temp is worth the bother, it means you can run less boost for same power out put

I know this is an old thread but was just wondering how the water is plumbed into the turbo and where from? And if its air cooled how is the air supplied when the radiator is right in front of turbo?

VTR or VTS?

The VTS models have a water cooled oil cooler as standard. I fitted a remote oil cooler, so tied into the water hoses which used to be used for the oil cooler.

So basically the water is fed from the rad top hose, through the turbo and back to the top hose.

Its VTR. So on the VTS top hose then there are alredy inlet and outlet facilities(which are there for the oil cooler)? If so, couldn't the top hose from a VTS be used on a VTR as it is fairly plyable? I suppose the other option would be to fit a T-piece on two places along the VTR hose.

Cheers for the info

Cheers for that. Your's is a 1.4 turbo isn't it? Have you had any probs since you've done the conversion?
