Help Understanding Payslip need answers
Does anyone no what "Recovery Advance NR" means in the deductions part of a payslip?

Its normally when they have paid you too much last month or previous months and found out. They then deduct this from your next pay packet to make the figure 'correct'.

have you had an advance of your wages, a recovery advance i think means where they are recovering the advance i:e taking it back

yes that is what it is though they are taking back an over payment or an advance that you may of had

The have taken over a grand!
Havent had any advances either.

really yes they should of done. plus they should of also asked you hopw you wanted to pay it back wether it be in monthly installments over X amount of months, etc....

Yes he will be phoning them up on monday but when he recieved his payslip it was to late in the day to do anything just thought i would ask around and see if anyone knew what it ment as it was such a large amount that was taken.
He does mass amounts of overtime so he sits and works all of his pay out from his time sheets, and he doesnt think he has been overpaid at anytime. thanks everyone for your answers.
