Default 1.1 valve clearances

Saxo 1.1 TU1JP Engine,

Checked autodata, valve clearances are Inlet 0.20mm and ext. 0.40mm.

Looked on a c2 forum they said set them when engine is cold.. Can anyone else confirm this?

Thought i'd do them while its in the garage and im waiting for the paint to dry

Set fire to it

Heat helps loosen bolts and nuts

For checking/adjusting valves you need to know piston position.

How can i position them?
