The seats will look cool once re-trimmed. im sure thats the style they used in the old starlet GT's? and maybe some other form of toyota too

yer mate, there very similar, they havent got the fishnet headrests on now though and look neater with the normal recaro ones.

got my jp4 covers and breather pipes etc today and a genuine wiper blank from a pug, also got myself some 20mm hubcentric spacers for my rear wheels, some red felt material for in the back instead of the paint, just to make it look a bit neater, carbon fibre boot vent blanks are here and my streamline carbon b pillar covers to cover where some noob took all the paint off. just stock piling at the minute for a nice day when im not at work to get everything fitted.

at least the weather is getting better so i dont freeze when "we" doing it. But has nicelt decided that he will do my car on tuesday if the bits have turned up, as still no cage

i am trying to hijack his car, but after years he still sayin "will put you on insurance so you can drive it" but still no joy

well.. finally a little bit of progress. spent best part of today and last night sorting a few bits and peices out on the car.

20mm spacers fitted on rear

looks like it sits alot better and gives it that wide look from behind


refurbed the wheels and fitted a red stripe but unsure if im liking the stripe or not, i'll give it a few days, see if it grows on me.



finally my cage arrived from geronimo, the workmanship of the cage is great but i will not be using geronimo again due to there attitude towards customers and the fact ive been waiting nearly 2 months for it to arrive

also now got the eyebolts and harness's fitted


fitted the 106 battery cover.


sanded down and repainted my slam panel and cleaned the bonnet catch mechanism. painted the morrette covers with rubberized paint to stop them chipping as much, and fitted the new black trs tow strap as the red one faded. also painted my lower grill to match the wheels in ford graphite



so this is how its sitting now, few more bits to get finished before the blyth cruise on saturday and then give it a good polish.


oil cap for the jp4's arrived late on today so will be getting them fitted and then cleaning engine bay too.

Awsome update as usual Will look really tidy with the JP4s fitted. Just got a 106 battery cover for my vtr aswell, although the battery it to big lol. My bay looks very similar to yours, accept its lacking 8 valves

had to take the spacers off today. little bit wide, going to trim the lip on the rear arches 2moro and get them back on.
