What others said earlier before! stick with XP, SP3 wil lbe out soon.
kinda agree it snot an upgrade really.
Wait til 6months or so, price wil ldrop, it will be alot more upto date with 'fixes'. and so forth.
p.s don't get a mac unless u really have to! - i don't hate them, i love them, but still pick PC anyday!
Buy a mac and it'l be old by 4months time, buy a PC and you can keep it new buy spending little on it every 6months. nehow!
You wont see any difference with the updates or fixes because your nto meant to really unles su have had problems before hand... but they'l make things that little bit more secure!

That info is incorrect. This version is to upgrade from Windows XP to Windows Vista Premium Edition.
As for is it worth it. hell no...........
Its a terrible O/S, games are sooooo slow even on my computer. I upgraded to 8GB of RAM and it still was rubbish. XP Ftw

I'm running Vista Ultimate 32-Bit at the moment and not had a problem yet after 3 months. Upgrading to Ultimate 64-Bit in a few weeks.
Still prefer XP though, but Vista is fast and easy to use also!

im still running xp media centre, althought my pc can handle vista i will only upgrade to vista when i get a new pc tbh got it on my laptop though not a fan looks pretty is quicker but theres to many little things which annoy the hell out of me lol

SP3 is out now?  well i installed it on my mums comp the other... ive still got my beta copy from early this year/last year? ages ago....
chaneces are you upgrade to vista would see you slowed down laptops are slow enough as it is unless you spend the money, thus the mac fan boys singing about there "good" laptops... spend the same money on a good laptop and see the performance difference, yes you dont have the programs but who needs them to game
