No, he's a friend of mine off Cliosport who i put in contact with Saxxy1988 re: an engine. Saxxy1998 then asked for bank transfer to Halifax/cash to be sent in the post lol.
Sorry guys, but if you've bought anything from him, id say you've been shafted as per the 106moaners thread ... it sounds like the same guy tbh.

i read this and i cant believe how gullible people are really "can you send the money direct into my bank account please?" if that doesnt seem dodgy and scream "SCAM!!"
then you idiots who paid need your heads testing.
only thing i can say is ring the police (if he turns out to be fraudulent) and give them his bank details...
maybe saxp needs to change the forsale section to where you have to read the does and dont's on paying for goods....
ie a paypal tutorial... not forum rules..

just my opinion but i dont think the mods need to do anything and even if they did how many people would actually read them they would just skip it like many people skip terms and conditions pages etc,

its not our place to baby sit people that think its ok to send money to strangers and then cry when they have been ripped off. this is why we suggest that you pay via PayPal or pay cash in person. But again we are not responsible for any transactions. The For Sale section could be easily removed to stop this happening but this would spoil it for the majority of the members that have trouble free transactions

i just cannot understand why people go to such legnths for a £100 its easy enough to make money out of trading on the internet with stuff you actualy have rather than making it up and stealing,
when i needed money to build the road rally car, i used to go down the the scap yard on a weekend and buy anything i could that i new would sell.
206 brakes, full VTR Kits, GTI Kits, Saxo Dash's etc etc and i would look in side the Wanted section and see what i could get from there, it was easy £10 £30 profit on each purchase (my scappy was super cheap cos he wanted to sponsor me but hey ho) and it paid for the engine rebuild, it was easy money, i only picked quality goods, and i didnt try and sell anything that visually couldnt be guarenteed (IE i wouldnt sell an engine as it could have done 1000miles or 1000000miles,)
but why people are like they are and go out of their way to scam as much as they can i will never quite comprehend.
