De-Cat Or Not De-Cat..
Will a de-cat on a 97 VTS make a real difference.. i'm getting new exhaust put in on monday, i was gonna get a cat back, but he said for an extra £50 he would put a de-cat pipe on...
would i notice any difference or am i best saving my cash ? ta !!!

make sure he gives u the cat with the brackets for when u take it in for MoT lol
will add 10-20bhp if ur luky

when i got a decat on my vtr i could feel the difference but it is nothing like companies make out. if i added all tha mods on my old vtr i would of had about 200 bhp! but i only had about 110 at the most lol

i fitted all my mods at the same time and did notice a difference, but it wasnt massive! lol
she defo pulls alot harder after 4k and sounds nice too eats the juice tho lmbo

i had a decat on mine for bout two weeks and i couldnt really notice much difference also mine went a little bit too loud for my liking so i took it off and is now for sale

I would get it put on mate tbh, you will notice a difference on how it picks up. Might be a little noisy on motorway, but if you don't mind that.
