Default anyone good with t.v.s?

got a beko 26WLK530HID t.v.

when i switch it on the standby light flickers, and i can't turn it on. then eventually, say after 45 mins, it may come on. really hit and miss.

sound like a dodgy connection somewhere?

It's not the exact model but this might help with the problem http://www.justanswer.com/tv-repair/...lickering.html

Edit. Basically put up with it or get a new one

cheers, having a look this morning. if they're bulging, going to take power board to local electrics shop. if that works, would be amazing, save me some money which is always good.

they're all in tact, extremely dusty though, going to give it a clean in a bit with a fine brush and hoover.

if that doesn't solve it, could anyone tell with a picture? of the power board etc.
