New TV Search Help
Well, I'm planning on getting a new TV for christmas, my current 42" Plasma is on its last legs, when you switch it into HD, the screen just goes green.. So im looking for a new one..
Looking for 42" minimum, Has to be HD, don't want another where i have to switch between HD and non HD tv.. Has to be wall mountable, as i have limited space. HDMI i would idealy want, to get the best out of my xbox..
Looking to spend around £300-£350.. Not an awful lot for a tv, but hey ho, already got surround sound and stuff, so none of the nonsense is needed..
Also, don't really want plasma, because the one i have now is shit with dark colours and blacks, so don't want that shit going down!

I acknowledge there is an IT & Multimedia section, but not an awful lot of people go looking in there, so i chose to break the rules and pose in general, where i will get more response, so fuck you saxp staff, and merry fuckmas.

quality over size, with that budget id get a top end 32" tv rather than 40+ with an inferior picture.
would make your whole films/gaming experience much more enjoyable tbh.

Ideally i don't want plasma, should have said, LCD or LED, my current plasma is shit for blacks, and having blurs in the dark colouring, like watching someone play minecraft

To be fair, i sit too far away for something like a 32", so like a big ish screen for gaming.. Used to have a HD projector, so used to the bigness..

Adsa have a LG 42'' LCD LED HDTV going for 300 quid. Awesome tv for the price.

Me too!!
Tesco had the new 10.1 at £238 a few weeks ago, almost purchased one.
But as said in january everything you paid top wack for the day before is cheaper a day later..

I know what you mean but unlike the ipad, these have SD card capabilities, cheeky 32GB micro sd card and your laughing.
Just checked on ebay can get a 32GB card for £10 !!
